ABOUT
I have been photographing weddings since 2014, I have loved photography from a young age, preserving the moments that are the most important to my friends and family. I was always the one in high school with the camera, but I missed the moments that truly mattered with my loved ones. I feel a genuine purpose to not let that happen to any of my clients!
I was very close to my grandparents and I have very little photos of them due to the timeframe. I can remember her cooking in the kitchen and my grandfather playin solitaire, what I wouldn't give for a photo of that! I want to give my clients memories and art they can hold onto forever and that is my why.
For background, I joined the Marine Corps and moved from Georgia (Go Dawgs!) to South Carolina. I fell for the lowcountry and never wanted to leave, the smell of the pluff mud is home now! I adore this little slice of heaven.

Christi Clark is amazing! She is professional, efficient and extremely talented. She captured all the important detail and moments. She used natural lighting very well. She scoped out perfect backdrops for the bridal party and couple pictures. I would hire her again for any special event. My husband and I were very busy before the wedding. We were traveling from California and Maine to South Carolina. It was extremely hectic but Christi made the process easy. We had only talked to her on the phone before the wedding. I was a little nervous about meeting our photographer the day of but there was no need to be nervous. She made us feel very comfortable. She is a pro! A couple days after our wedding, a hurricane swept through South Carolina. Christi had to evacuate but still managed to edit our photos in record time!

The first thing about Christi that led me to choosing her for our wedding photographer was that she responded to all my emails and texts super fast from day one. Then, when we met her on a freezing cold day for our engagement pictures, she was able to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera which made our photos look really natural and fun. Christi also did a great job on my bridal portraits, picking the best light and backgrounds and helping me pose without feeling awkward. By the time the wedding day finally rolled around, I had no worries about photos at all and I knew she would capture the day perfectly. The very next day, she had edited and posted a very generous sneak peak of our day and it really helped to keep the excitement of the weekend going! Even my husband, who (like most guys) hates taking pictures, ended up being able to laugh and be himself with Christi. We are 100% happy with our choice and are so in love with our pictures!

As a photographer myself, I was exceptionally picky with who I wanted to shoot my wedding. I searched and searched...I found Christi through a mutual friend on Facebook! I love the fresh life all of my photos had, from my bridal portraits to the details of our wedding day to the time we left amongst sparklers! I've received countless compliments! Christi photographed my bridal portraits and our wedding day. She is absolutely the BEST! I’ve never had any professional photos taken and she made us both so comfortable in front of the camera. Choosing Christi was one of the first decision we made for our wedding. The only thing else we had planned was the date. She answered all my pre-wedding questions before we ever booked her. She is extremely professional and prompt. She made us feel extremely comfortable and she captured really beautiful moments between my husband and I. What is your photography style?
Editorial Photojournalism! I will occasionally give light direction to optimize the couple’s best angles. I do not want take away from the moments that are needed to tell your authentic story. Not overly posed, but we will absolutely get those perfect posed shots everyone loves too! My heart are for the genuine moments so I do give prompts and get my couples interacting naturally, that is always the goal! Walking, running, hugging, whispering etc.. :)
How many images will I receive?
I average 100 per hour, at the least. I usually return a little bit more.
I am really awkward in front of the camera, can you help me?
Of course!! I am also awkward in front of the camera, so I get it! MOST of my clients have no idea what to do, so don't worry I will direct and give you prompts so you are you in front of my lens. I adore candid moments, but we will always strive to get those posed
moments for family and for you too!
Do you back up your images?
YES!! I have two extra external drives as well as a computer they are saved on! Once your gallery is delivered you will also have an online album that is good for life!
How many weddings to you take a year and do you ever do double weekends?
I book 15 weddings a year or less. It is very important to me to know each couple by name, to remember what poses you like or don't like and to really know who you are as a couple! I feel that taking a lot of weddings per year would take away from that magic! I do NOT shoot double wedding weekends! Only if there happens to be a reschedule and I need to make it work, but ideally no! It goes along with the same idea, that I want my couples to have my full focus the week of their wedding!
